Explore my works chronologically under the "New Work" heading at the bottom of the page. You may email postcards from any of my works - look for the Send Postcard link in the upper right corner, above the image. Several pieces have PDF images for art cards, formatted for Strathmore Creative Art cards. These too are free. You may also find my work at Harmony Wishes, an alternative e-greeting card website.
Give The Gift of Art
All of the pieces I list here are priced to be affordable. These are not prints: each piece is a unique artwork. All online purchases are safe and secure through PayPal.
I accept commissions from your photograph ($250 for 9"x12"; $400 for 13"x19") — contact me for details.
Roses
In this work, I play with a new technique with oil pastels. For this piece, taken from a photograph of the roses in front of my Seattle home, I mix the pastels off-canvas, blending colors and applying them with a paper stub, using it almost like a palette knife.
The background textures were a deliberate attempt to use some of the same techniques that the carry through Impressionist paintings--long strokes, blurred lines, etc.
